Anne Burrell
Anne W. Burrell, an American TV chef and an former Institute of Culinary Education instructor she is a popular TV host. Burrell hosts Food Network's Secrets of a Restaurant Chef, and is also the host of Worst Cooks in America. Anne Burrell, with her trademark spiky blond tresses and pumped-up persona on the Food Network's Secrets of a Restaurant Cook series, provides an easy and straightforward methods for cooks at home. The chef Burrell is also a seasoned veteran of New York City's best restaurants. She has also explored Italy's cuisine and the culture of Italy, and the surrounding environment. While growing up in the Upstate New York area, Chef Burrell developed a passion for cooking and food from a young age. The Culinary Institute of America was the next stage for her following her graduation with the Bachelor of Arts in English and Communication in the fall of 2004 from Canisius College Buffalo NY. The Culinary Institute of America has been a great experience. I couldn't learn or do enough. When I graduated from the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners, Chef Burrell took a full year in Italy learning and working in La Taverna del Lupo restaurant located in Umbria as well as La Bottega del 30 one Michelin star in Tuscany. During her time in Italy she came to comprehend and appreciate the philosophy of Italian food and culture that left a lasting impact on her culinary viewpoint. Burrell is a member of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board that helps brighten the lives of kids who struggle. Additionally, she is an Juvenile diabetes Research Foundation celebrity advocate, where she has a mission to raise awareness for juvenile diabetics. In her capacity as a speaker, she travels across the nation to talk about her love of cuisine and to promote her professional career as a chef. Anne has always been grateful she could share the passion of her life, and her passion for cooking, with people around the world.
